Cancellation Policy

TSL events are subject to the following cancellation policy:

COVID-19

In the event of a COVID-19 surge such as:

  • Guidelines from the CDC restrict gatherings of large groups of people
  • Guidelines from the CDC or state health dept identify a dangerous variant that is spreading through Texas
  • The death toll from COVID-19 surges beyond a baseline level

TSL will be promptly cancelled. All player dues will be refunded on a prorated basis of $5/event. Cuppy McCupface may be awarded via existing records and/or an internet competition at the commissioner’s discretion.

TSL may also face COVID-related cancellation if widespread vaccine/mask cheating is determined to be posing a threat to public health.

LACK OF PARTICIPATION

If fewer than 50 total players sign up TSL will be cancelled and all registration fees refunded. This determination will be made no later than May 14th.

WEATHER

In the event of a weather-related cancellation, the schedule will be retooled and an alternative championship weekend will be identified in July or August.

MENTAL HEALTH

The commissioner reserves the right to cancel TSL events if TSL staff and referees face abusive treatment that is too widespread for suspension/expulsion to repair.

OTHER

TSL may also be cancelled for any other legitimate reason, and dues will be refunded on a prorated basis of $5/event.
